Himilo Training is a training provider set up by ACH. We work with learners and employers to create and deliver life-changing opportunities, remove barriers and supply outstanding teaching, learning and assessment activities.

Himilo training is striving to be a trailblazer in working directly with employers to fill skills shortages in all industries. There is a shortage of skilled workers to meet the needs of the hospitality sector - Himilo Training works directly with specific employers and tailors courses to directly match their specific requirements. Himilo Training is directly responsible for "supporting today's learner to be tomorrow's valued employee". 
Changing the face of ESOL 
There is little doubt that developing English language skills are of vital importance, and that securing and progressing into employment is one of the most important factors in successful resettlement. ESOL needs to be individually tailored and set in the wider context of training and employment support. That's why our "Living in Britain" courses support developing language skills that are relevant and enable learners to access services, understand policies, regulations and laws, promote inclusion, support life-long learning and integration into playing a positive and valued role in society.

Looking for Employers 

Himilo Training is looking for employers who have a skills shortage and would welcome the opportunity to input into the training of learners to meet the specific skills they require. We can deliver employers' Health & Safety, Equality & Diversity, policies and procedures, and provide appropriate planned work placements with mentoring and a structured learning review. Into Employment 

Himilo Training have a suite of accredited qualifications and non-accredited courses to support learners to improve their skills, raise their career aspirations, and remove the barriers to securing worthwhile and relevant employment, enabling them to move into occupational areas where they can contribute towards a quality workforce for any employer. 

Stepping Stones (Entry Level to Level 3) 

We have courses from pre-Entry to Level 3. All of our courses clearly identify and support the progression and every learner, wherever they are on their learning journey.

National Careers Service 

We provide information, advice and guidance to help people make decisions on learning, training and employment.  
Our impartial and qualified staff can support with constructing CVs, skills health check reports, action planning with clear goals and targets, and searching for the right course or going directly into employment. 
We also run a drop-in Job Club to enable learners to update their CVs, get information, advice and guidance, further research career options and roles, and help with uploading CVs onto jobsites. We run scheduled employer events throughout the year to find out what employers are looking for, about their existing vacancies, and provide the chance to ask questions and make informed choices.

Customers that engage with National Careers Service have additional access to other support mechanisms provided under the ACH umbrella including Himilo Training, all of which allow tailored support services that promote excellent customer development and progression."
