Himilo Vocational Courses
For the new academic year, Himilo Training (our subsidiary training arm) is offering up a plentiful selection of new courses. For the duration of the Autumn (up until the end of October), these short, vocational courses will be running in Bristol with the aim of getting people into jobs.
As we all know, finding employment can sometimes be challenging, especially when you are up against many other candidates. These courses provide learners with that extra bit of support and knowledge which could be the difference between getting a job and being rejected. The new courses follow on from the success of the Level 1 Accredited Warehousing award in Wolverhampton and the introductory course for working as a cleaner in Bristol.
Courses such as Interview Skills, Computers Skills and Kitchen Skills will give participants career-focused information, increased skill levels and will benefit their future job applications. Every course will also build up transferable skills of confidence and communication, which are key abilities needed for any job role.
We have had some great feedback from previous courses, including these fantastic words from a learner who has attended our weekly Job Club and taken part in English courses run by ACH: “I now look forward to Thursday and Fridays! I am so excited to be studying. Coming here lets me forget about my life stresses. I now don’t feel sad and on my own. When I first came I was so shy and afraid of everything. But you have all made me so happy and welcomed”.
